We at flow are full of anticipation for the new book from our ‘stable’. A total of seven colleagues have been writing, discussing, proofreading, approving galley proofs … and, and, and, and since spring 2024.
Now the time has come: the ‘Toolbox Leading Change’ is being published (in German) by the renowned Schäffer-Poeschel Verlag (Stuttgart). On more than 300 pages, we describe many tools from our consulting practice. If you have known and experienced us for some time, then you will certainly be familiar with some of these tools. But there will also be plenty of new things for you – and for everyone else anyway. In order to introduce iterative change management to those who have had little to do with it so far, we will first provide an introduction – including a description and link to some of our flow-decider tools. This is followed by eight tools for each of the four change topics:
- Achieve acceptance: A change must be accepted by the people affected.
- Establish routines:The change must be integrated into stable and familiar processes.
- Reduce ambiguity:The change must offer clear goals, purposes and benefits.
- Increase effectiveness:The change must lead to a real, positive result.
Each description of these tools follows the same pattern. And to make the whole thing easier to understand, here is a brief insight into a case where the tool was used. No, don’t be afraid of those we have already worked with: The cases are fictitious. Similarities with living … [well, you know what I mean].
So we’re looking forward to it! And because anticipation is the best kind of joy, we’d like to share it with you. Take a look at the Schäffer-Poeschel Verlag programme preview here (German language).
