Mark Obert

Mark Obert studied sociology, German language and literature, and Slavic studies in Frankfurt am Main, but dropped out to take up a traineeship at the Frankfurter Rundschau newspaper. He has been working as a journalist and author since 1988 and has written articles, documentaries, essays, and pieces for several magazines and newspapers.

Mark Obert was an editor at the Frankfurter Rundschau for 20 years, also in a management position, and is currently an editor at the Frankfurter Neue Presse. He is the recipient of the Theodor Wolff Prize, the German newspaper award.

Since 2014, Mark Obert has been working part-time as a cooperation partner of flow consulting gmbh with the following areas of focus:

• Seminars on public relations and social media
• Conducting writing workshops
• Strategic public relations
• Speech writing
